Hi, I'm Sarah, a professionally-accredited integrative counsellor for adults, children and young people. My own journey into counselling began several years ago when working as a primary school leader.  I felt that counselling skills could support in the role I held then, and signed up for a short course at a local college.  Little did I know that it would take me on a journey of professional development and self-discovery that would ultimately lead to a change of career!

I now work as a counsellor alongside other roles, including coordinating peer support for parents and carers of children with SEND and delivering training to counselling students and qualified professionals.  As an accredited professional member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society, I aim to deliver integrative therapy based on a trusting, safe and warm relationship.  I draw upon a variety of approaches in my work, as every person is unique and deserving of therapy to meet their specific needs.
